Why this exists

Online shopping in Belgium and the Netherlands is served by plenty of comparison sites, and almost all of them rank on the price on the label. Shops have noticed. Advertise low, recover it in delivery, and you win the top slot on every comparison site at once.

MyIQCart compares the item price across every shop it carries, and says so plainly rather than implying it knows your delivered cost. That honesty about what it does not know is the harder half to build — see how it works for what happens when a shop will not publish its delivery cost.

What it does

• Compares one product across shops, ranked by item price, for the country you choose.
• Compares the item price and says so plainly, rather than inventing a delivered total out of a feed that cannot know your address.
• Lets you keep a watchlist and be told when something reaches the price you would actually pay.
• Records price history, so a “deal” can be checked against the past.

What it refuses to do

• Sell the top slot. Commission never influences ranking. Not by a place, not by a tiebreak.
• Invent a number. An unknown delivery cost is shown as unknown, never as zero.
• Buy anything for you. No auto-checkout, no cart-holding, no queue-jumping. We tell people things; we do not act for them.
• Hide when a price is stale. Every price carries the time it was last checked.

Where it is up to

MyIQCart is being built in the open and is not finished. The comparison, watchlists and alerts work. Store connections are being added one at a time, each through an official product feed with the merchant's agreement rather than by scraping their pages.

Until the first connection is live, the prices shown here are generated demonstration data and every page says so. We would rather show an honest placeholder than a convincing fake.
